Soak bread rolls and squeeze well. Mix with egg, onions, minced meat and spices to a smooth meat dough. With wet hands form 5-6 long sausages as thick as your thumb. Chill in the freezer for approx. 10 min. so that they keep their shape better when roasted later. Now fry the minced sausages in a casserole, add onion rings and fry as well, likewise the cocktail sausages. Extinguish with red wine and chili sauce, braise briefly, season with salt and cayenne pepper. Best served with freshly toasted white bread.
