For the chocolate-almond casserole, cream the butter and sugar in a bowl until fluffy and gradually add the yolks, stirring constantly.

Then add breadcrumbs and chocolate cookies and finally fold the stiffly beaten egg whites loosely into the mixture with a whisk.

Pour everything together into a greased baking dish, cover and bake in the oven at 200 °C for about 80 minutes.
