For the birthday cake, prepare a smooth batter from the ingredients for the dough. Pour this onto a prepared baking tray and bake at 180 °C for approx. 25 minutes (test with a stick).
Turn the baked cake out onto a large cooling rack and allow to cool. Melt the half-lattice couverture in a water bath and temper.
Then pour a runway in the center of the cake with the melted chocolate, smooth with a palette. Make a not too thin glaze with powdered sugar, lemon juice and water.
Coat the sides next to the runway with it. leave a rest for the plane. Now knead an airplane from the marzipan paste.
Cover it with icing as well (color a part of it with food coloring to make it more colorful). Place the airplane on the runway and press it down a bit.
At the edge of the runway, attach the candles with the candle holders.
