For the apple pie, first prepare the apple filling. To do this, peel 1.5 kg of apples and cut into thin slices.
Mix with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, half a teaspoon of ground cloves and 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Prepare a short pastry from the ingredients for the dough, preferably in a food processor or with the dough hook of a mixer.
Roll out half of the dough immediately on a greased baking sheet or press it apart with a little flour. Spread the apple mixture on top and cover with the second pastry sheet.
Close the two dough sheets at the edge. Roll over a little more with a rolling pin. Prick several times with a fork and bake until light. Sprinkle the apple pie with a little sugar and enjoy.
