For Grandma’s stuffed peppers, soak the rolls in water and squeeze. Cut the tops off the peppers and hollow them out.

Mix minced meat, rolls, salt, pepper, crushed garlic, marjoram and egg and fill the peppers with it.

Bring tomato sauce to a boil in a large pot, put the peppers in and cook for about 40 minutes. Salt the sauce if necessary, add a little sugar and bind it with flour.

Arrange the stuffed peppers with the sauce and serve.
