Rinse the meat, dry it and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Peel the onion, halve it and cut it into very thin slices. Peel the garlic and press it through a press. Remove the skin from the ginger and grate finely. Rinse, quarter and clean the tomatoes. Heat the clarified butter in a saucepan and fry the onions until golden brown. Add garlic and ginger, roast for 2 minutes. Add clove, cinnamon stick and cardamom pod and fry for about 2 minutes. Then remove these spices repeatedly.

Add the meat cubes and roast for about 5 min. while stirring. Add coriander, cumin, turmeric, chili spice and salt.

Season the whole thing. gradually add tomatoes, ground almond kernels and 250 ml hot water and make everything together for about 20 min, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle the dish with the almond slivers before serving.

Goes well with: Basmati long grain rice or Indian flat bread (chapati). If you like, sprinkle a few coriander leaves over the dish.

Tip: Always use aromatic spices to refine your dishes!
