Turkey Baguette with Crispy Bacon

Instructions:

For the turkey baguette with crispy bacon, first prepare the marinade for the turkey. For this, mix 3 tbsp. olive oil, ½ tsp. paprika powder, ½ clove of pressed garlic, 2 roughly chopped thyme sprigs, and ½ tsp. each salt and pepper in a bowl.

For the whiskey ketchup, mix 5 tablespoons tomato ketchup, 1½ teaspoons whiskey (or cognac), ½ teaspoon pepper, and 1 teaspoon mustard in a bowl.

Cut 2 WECH turkey cutlets in half lengthwise to make 4 narrow pieces. Then coat each side with the finished marinade and let marinate for about 5 minutes. Then place the finished marinated meat on the hot grill for 3 minutes per side (= 6 minutes in total) and baste with the remaining marinade if necessary. Just before serving, top each cutlet with half a slice of smoked Gouda and let it slowly melt on the meat.

Cut 2 precooked corn on the cob in half widthwise and insert a small wooden skewer into each half, this will make them easier to eat later. Then place the corn on the cob on the hot grill for about 8 minutes, brush with butter and season with about ½ tsp salt total. Turn several times while grilling until they have a golden color on all sides.

Cut 2 tomatoes and an onion into thin slices. Then place the onion rings on the grill for about 3 minutes, drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil and season with ½ teaspoon each salt and pepper. This will allow the onion rings
