Pluck out 8 glasses of 0.2 liters of rose petals, remove the white seeds, run them briefly under running water and rub them dry. Put back a handful of rose petals, put the rest in a punch bowl, sprinkle with powdered sugar, add wine and chill.

Remove rose petals, add sparkling wine and rose water, garnish with the remaining rose petals.
