For the grape jam, grate grapes and bring to a boil in a saucepan. Strain the grapes through the liquidizer, weigh and mix with 1/3 of the grape weight jelling sugar and the vanilla sugar.

Boil for 10 minutes and do the jelly test. Put some rum in the lids of preserving jars, pour the jam into the preserving jars, close and let cool with the lid down.
