Quenta (German pronounced: kentao) Hot ginger drink from Sao Paulo Heat all ingredients together to about 90 °C , do not make! From time to time a little bit of cachaça should be added. The result is a white-yellowish punch, some like it reddish colored. This is achieved with grenadine syrup.

Other variations:

If desired, the taste can be varied with vanilla, a few tea leaves, red fruit tea, a shot of passion fruit, orange, lemon or pineapple juice.
