For the potato spirals on skewers, first preheat the oven to 190 °C hot air. Cover a baking tray with baking paper. Peel the potatoes and put them in cold water if necessary.
Put the potato lengthwise on a wooden skewer. Cut all around with a sharp knife up to the skewer, turning the skewer to create spirals. Pull apart slightly. Place on baking sheet.
Mix oil with salt, pepper and dried thyme and brush the potato spirals with it. Bake the potato spirals on skewers for about 20 minutes.
