Soak the bread roll in water. Mix minced meat with a very finely chopped onion, egg yolk and the squeezed out breadcrumbs. Season the mixture with salt, aniseed and cinnamon and shape it around the skewers. Afterwards put them in a cool place, likewise do not leave them outside too long during grilling, especially if it is very hot.

Cut the chicken breast into cubes. Mix 2 tbsp yogurt with a little very finely chopped onion, turmeric and salt and marinate the chicken cubes in it.

Cut the lamb into cubes as well. Mix olive oil with cumin, paprika and salt and marinate the lamb cubes in it. It is best to prepare the meat cubes the day before and let them marinate well in the refrigerator for one night.

Wipe most of the yogurt marinade off the chicken cubes and skewer them. Remove lamb cubes from marinade and skewer alternately with peppers. Grill the meat skewers.

Remove peel from cucumber, cut in half, scoop out seeds and finely slice or chop. Mix cucumber with remaining yogurt, spring onion and finely chopped dill and serve as a dip.

Tip: The higher the fat content in the yogurt, the more aromatic and creamy the result!
