For the potato salad with bacon, bring the potatoes to a boil in about 2 liters of cold water with 1 teaspoon of caraway seeds and 2 teaspoons of salt. Boil for 20 minutes. Rinse the potatoes, peel and cut into small slices.
Dice the bacon and fry it in a pan. Then dice the onions and continue frying with the bacon, but do not let them brown. Add to the cooked potatoes. In the same pan, heat about 200 ml of water and dissolve 1 tablespoon of soup powder in it. Stir in mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper and pour this marinade over the potatoes.
Let it marinate for a while and serve the potato salad with bacon lukewarm or cold.
