This potato casserole is very simple. The exact quantities you have to try, at home we eat a lot and I just take potatoes by feel and make so much sauce that they are just well covered.,) You boil the vegetable soup (I always take the soup cube), add Rama Cremefine and season it with salt and pepper – bring to a boil. So that the sauce is not too watery, bind it with flour as desired. Of course, you can also add other spices as desired. The potatoes are cut into thin slices and placed in a buttered baking dish, then I put sauce on top and put the second layer of potatoes. Then sauce and potatoes again, and so on. Since potatoes need a lot of salt, I usually salt a tiny bit over each layer of potatoes. The casserole then goes into the oven. I bake it at 250°C top/bottom heat for about an hour (depending on the thickness of the potatoes).
About 20 minutes before the end of the baking time I sprinkle the cheese on top. Of course, you could boil the potatoes briefly beforehand, then the casserole doesn’t need as long in the oven. You need very few ingredients, which you also have actually mostly at home and the potato casserole is quite easy to make.Have fun trying =)
