Instructions:

For the Minions Chocolate Banana Cookie, cream the room-warm butter together with the sugar, vanilla sugar, cocoa powder, and 1/2 tablespoon salt, and mix in one egg at a time.

Mix the flour with the baking powder and baking soda, sift into the butter mixture and mix until smooth.

Meanwhile, chop the dark chocolate and banana chips into small pieces. Mix both into the batter and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 180° C and on a baking tray lined with baking paper, shape the dough into oblong cookies about 7 millimeters high, eight centimeters long and three centimeters wide. Leave enough space between each portion, as they will increase in size during baking. Bake for 15 minutes and let cool.

For the Minion decorations, melt white chocolate in a double boiler and color with yellow food coloring. Brush a little more than the top half of each cookie with the yellow chocolate and let dry. Repeat the process if you want the color to be even more intense.

Dust blue rolled fondant with a little confectioner’s sugar and roll out thinly between two sheets of baking paper. Using a pointed knife, cut out a half circle from the fondant for each Minion cookie, making sure it is large enough to cover the area not covered with chocolate icing until now. Using a paintbrush, brush a bit of water onto one side of the fondant can and spread on di
