A bean recipe for every taste:
Clean beans and cut into bite-sized pieces. Blanch in boiling hot water for 4-5 minutes, pour into a colander and rinse with cold water.
Peel the shallots and cut them into tiny cubes, chop the savory.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the shallots briefly.
Add the quenched beans and mix with savory.
Pour the sweet whipped cream and mix everything together well.
Continue to simmer briefly over low heat, stirring throughout, until the beans are al dente and the whipped cream is slightly absorbed.
Season with salt, pepper and some freshly grated nutmeg.
Serve with boiled potatoes and a strong beer.
