For the baked green beans, divide the green beans diagonally into pieces and boil them with plenty of salted water until soft. Drain the water. Dice bacon and onion very finely. Heat oil in a saucepan and slowly fry bacon and onion, stirring occasionally.

When the onion and bacon cubes start to brown, stir in the flour, fry briefly, then pour in about 125 ml of water. Bring to the boil, add the savory and cook.

Add the green beans and, just before serving, fold in the sour cream but do not bring to the boil again. Serve the baked green beans as a side dish with dumplings, meat, etc.
