For the ham and cream spaetzle, cook the spaetzle according to the cooking instructions. Cut the ham into small cubes. Cut the peppers into small cubes as well.

Then sauté the ham and peppers in hot olive oil. Stir in the two cups of sour cream and do not bring to a boil (otherwise it may clump).

Stir in the cooked spaetzle and season with salt and pepper.
