In a large frying pot, sauté the onion in olive oil with cumin and coriander. Then briefly brown the garlic. Add the lentils and clear soup. Stir well and allow to bubble up. Turn down heat and lightly simmer 25 to 35 min until lentils are tender. Five to ten min before serving, add spinach to soup. Season with salt to taste.
