Instructions:

Knead a dough from the first ingredients. Divide the dough into quarters and bake 4 layers in turn in a lightly greased springform pan. Bake each for 15 minutes at 200 degrees (gas: level 4) in the heated oven.

Remove the cake layers from the baking tray and let them cool down. While still hot, cut one cake into 12 equal pieces (dip a kitchen knife in hot water after each cut). Set these pieces aside for garnishing.

Mix egg whites with a few drops of water, spread on the 3 bases and sprinkle with a mixture of sugar, cinnamon and almond kernels.

Whip the well precooled whipped cream, spread 2/3 of it on the bottoms and place them carefully on top of each other on a cake plate. Spread whipped cream all around the cake and fill the rest into a piping nozzle. Divide the top of the cake into 12 equal pieces (just mark with a kitchen knife), pipe a large dollop of whipped cream on each piece and lean the 12 pieces set aside diagonally against it. Sprinkle with a tiny bit of cinnamon sugar and refrigerate.
