After the 5th and 6th month, the infant’s iron depot is depleted – he is dependent on supply through food. If you do not want to give meat yet, you should use the exceptionally iron-rich millet in the midday porridge instead. Your baby should also be given an egg yolk – well boiled – once a week. If you freeze a supply of carrots (2 kg), you will have this porridge prepared quickly.

Rinse and clean the carrots, dice them and cook them in water for about 15 minutes. Mix the egg yolks with a little water, add to the carrots, stirring continuously, and sprinkle in the millet flakes. Let everything bubble up. Form the porridge into a high baking bowl, finely strain with a blender and stir in the grated apple and orange juice.

also mix a column of exceptionally vitamin C-rich apple (eg Berlepsch) finely grated additionally into the porridge.
