Finely grate the cheese on the raw vegetable grater. Remove the fat from the country ham and cut the ham into 1 cm cubes. Halve the onion and cut into small strips. Drain the vegetables in a sieve.

Defrost the Tk vegetables for about 30 minutes. Peel tomatoes and remove stalks. Cut tomatoes in half, remove seeds and cut into strips. Coarsely chop chives and parsley.

Heat oil in a deep, heavy frying pan and sauté ham cubes and onion stripes for 5 minutes until golden. Add the vegetables and tomatoes and cook for 15 minutes at medium temperature with the lid closed. In case of Tk vegetables, add 1/2 cup of water. Season vegetables with parsley, chives, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Mix milk or whipping cream well with eggs and tomato ketchup and stir in cheese. Pour the mixture over the vegetables and let the eggs set at a low temperature, stirring carefully.

Garnish with tomato slices and parsley.

Our tip: Always use fresh chives if possible!
