For the Spaghetti Bolognese a la Bernhard, chop onions, carrots and sauté in a pan. Remove from the pan.
Brown the minced meat, add tomato paste fry well and add the garlic and onion carrots. Deglaze with tomatoes and the vegetable broth and simmer. Season with the herbs and spices and add butter.
Cook the pasta in salted water according to instructions. Add two tablespoons of the pasta water to the sauce. Strain the pasta and mix immediately into the sauce (never quench).
Sprinkle spaghetti Bolognese with Parmesan cheese and serve with a salad.
