Try this delicious cake recipe:
(approx. 35 min.) Lightly grease cake pan or line with parchment paper. Cream butter, sugar and salt until light and creamy. Gradually add eggs and milk. Sift gingerbread spice, flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and stir into butter-egg mixture. Mix almond kernels, pistachios with candied lemon peel, candied orange peel, lightly flour and stir into the batter.
Pour the mixture into the prepared cake pan, press a little bit to get rid of the air bubbles and bake in the heated oven at 175 °C for about 70 minutes. Cool on top, turn out, sprinkle with powdered sugar, cut open and serve with coffee, punch or possibly mulled wine.
