At the beginning, beat the light butter with the eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Later, sift in the flour and baking powder and add the ground hazelnuts. Mix with a hand mixer until smooth, then fold in the cinnamon and rum. Chop the chocolate into coarse pieces, remove the peel from the apples and cut them into small pieces.

At the beginning add the chocolate pieces to the dough, at the end add the apples and stir them in carefully. Preheat the oven briefly to 175 °C. Put the dough into a greased springform pan (26 or 28 cm ø) and bake for about one hour. After cooling, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
