Instructions:

1 Cut avocados in half, remove stone (see “Tip” below).

2 Remove skin from avocado, place flesh in a medium baking dish form. Mash well with a fork until smooth.

3 Cut the onion and tomatoes, mix with the chopped cilantro.

4. add to the avocado puree in the baking bowl with the remaining ingredients, mix well. Bring to table as a dip with hominy chips, or as a filling for tacos.

Note: If the avocado flesh is exposed to air, it will turn dark. To prevent this, keep the stone of the avocado in the dip, cover the dip with foil.

Tip To remove the stone without damaging the flesh, twist off one half of the avocado cut lengthwise all around. Then insert a sharp kitchen knife (blade) into the pit. Pull back the kitchen knife. The stone will come out with the kitchen knife.

Tip Ii Gratinated guacamole is delicious as a breakfast dish or snack. Pile gaucamole on toast, sprinkle with grated cheese and grilled bacon bits and grill until cheese is melted.

Our tip: Use a bacon with a strong flavor – this will give this dish a special touch!
