For the quick fruit cake in a jar, first mix flour and baking powder well.

Add the remaining ingredients to the flour and mix to a smooth dough, preferably with a mixer.

Divide the dough into the prepared and greased jars – note: fill the jars no more than halfway – and seal them.

Bake the quick fruit cake in the jar at 180 °C for 25 minutes.
