For the nut cake, whisk the yolks, oil and water with the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy.

Then fold in the flour sifted with baking powder and the nuts alternately with the stiffly beaten snow.

Pour the mixture into a buttered and crumb-covered cake pan and bake at 160-170 degrees.

Before serving, sprinkle the nut gugelhupf with powdered sugar.
