Instructions:

Wash the cornel cherries (Dirndln) and remove the seeds.

Place in a large jar with a stopper, add sugar, cinnamon and vanilla, pour with rum.

Leave to rest for about 6-8 weeks, shaking frequently to dissolve the sugar.

Then filter through a hair sieve, bottle and enjoy.
