For the birthday cake desk separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites to snow. Cream butter, yolks and powdered sugar, then stir in the melted chocolate.
Sift flour with baking powder and stir into the yolk mixture with the whipped cream. Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites. Line a baking tray with baking paper, spread the batter and bake at 175 degrees.
For the chocolate ganache, bring the whipped cream to the boil, remove the pan from the heat and dissolve the chopped chocolate in it. Stir chocolate ganache until smooth and refrigerate for a few hours.
Let the dough cool and then cut into a rectangle (table). Assemble with chocolate ganache and spread everything around the outside.
Cool the cake and brush it again. Then knead fondant and cover the table with it. Decorate the birthday cake desk as desired.
