Instructions:

Chop the onion, carrot and potato. Heat some oil in a pressure cooker and fry the onion until translucent. Now briefly fry the rolled barley and pour in the water.

Add the bay leaf and close the pressure cooker with the lid. Let it boil under pressure for about 15 minutes. Release the pressure and add the carrots as well as the spices and the vegetable soup cube and cook again under pressure for about 5 minutes.

Now add the potato as well as the house sausage and cook until the potato is soft. Take out the sausage and cut it into small pieces. Put it back into the soup.

Let the soup rest for a few hours and then serve.
