Soak the beans one night in water, make the following day in the same water, then add the finely diced onions + pressed garlic, add cumin (about a tsp), add vinegar, pepper, no salt yet! Make in pressure cooker about 1, 5h, in normal cooker a little bit longer, now add the ingredients. Continue. Taste, add caipirinha or possibly beer to the table.
It will be more original, each time there are more “porky” meat ingredients in it: Trunks, ears, pig’s feet, fatty bacon, etc. A fejoada completa must have orange slices (perhaps lightly sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon). You eat the ferjoada with long grain rice.
