Beat egg yolks and sugar (1) to a light, thick cream. Fold in crème fraîche and sour half cream. Freeze in an ice cream maker. You can also put the mixture in a baking dish in the freezer and mix it three or four times while freezing.

Meanwhile, rinse the strawberries in cold water, remove the leafy tops and place in a large enough bowl with the sugar and juice of one lemon. Mash lightly with a fork. Refrigerate.

When the ice cream mixture is half frozen, add the marinated strawberries without the juice. Fold in vigorously and finish freezing.

Example with the strawberry juice from the marinating were mixed.
