Rinse strawberries briefly in cold water, remove hull, drain and cut in half. Put them in a baking dish sprinkled with sugar and let them stand for 15 minutes with the lid closed.

For the foam omelet, whip egg whites until stiff. gradually add half of the sugar. Beat the egg yolks with the remaining sugar until creamy. On the egg white form and stir in. Heat butter in a frying pan. Add the egg white mixture. Cook at low temperature for about 8 minutes. After that the bottom side is golden brown. While frying, put a lid on the frying pan, but do not close it completely. Slide out of the frying pan onto a plate. Strawberries on the omelet form, fold one half over and bring to table dusted with powdered sugar.
