For the Sicilian style swordfish, first wash the fish, dab it dry and place it in a suitable mold.

For the marinade, mix the white wine with the olive oil and pour over the fish. Turn the fish once and spread the onion rings, lemon slices, bay leaves, salt and peppercorns over the fish as well and let it marinate covered in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

Then remove the swordfish from the mold, sprinkle with oregano on all sides and fry in a pan on both sides for about 5 minutes.
