For the sheet cake with peaches, cream butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and grated lemon zest. Gradually add the eggs and then carefully fold in the flour and baking powder.

Line a baking tray with baking parchment paper, spread the mixture about 2 cm thick and cover it densely with peach pieces (halves or wedges) so that the skin or peel is facing down. If you turn the fruit in flour beforehand, they will not sink to the bottom.

Bake the sheet cake with peaches at 160°C (hot air) in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes.
