Quarter the pumpkin, remove seeds with a spoon and cut into cubes. Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes of about the same size. Peel and finely dice the onion.

Cut bacon into small pieces, fry briefly, add onion and fry until translucent. Add garlic paste, paprika and hot bell pepper and fry briefly. Pour in soup and bring to the boil briefly.

Add pumpkin and potatoes and simmer on low heat until al dente. Stir in cream cheese, season with salt and pepper if needed.

Cut the sausage into cubes, add, let it warm up only briefly and serve sprinkled with fresh herbs.
