Instructions:

A simple but delicious cake recipe:

1. for the dough, mix 2/3 of the eggs with milk, flour and salt and leave to rise for 20 min.

Preheat the electric stove to 200 °C. 3.

3. for the filling, mix well curd cheese with sour whipped cream, 2 sugars, eggs, vanilla sugar, juice of 2/3 lemons and a little grated lemon peel.

4. heat half of the butter. Bake narrow pancakes from the dough (double the number of servings).

5. spread the curd on the pancakes, roll them up and place them in a greased baking pan.

Bake in the oven for 15 minutes (gas mark 3). Now pour heated whipped cream and bake for another 20 min.

Heat the cherries with juice in a saucepan and thicken with cornstarch. Season to taste with a little lemon juice.

After baking, sprinkle pancake strudel with powdered sugar and serve with warm cherry compote.
