For the glaze: 250 g powdered sugar
5-6 tbsp mulled wine
100 g almond flakes
Dough: Mix sugar, butter, vanilla sugar and eggs until creamy. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (do not use convection oven, but you will need 160 °C later).
Add sifted flour and baking powder to the dough, add chocolate and mulled wine and mix well.
Grease the baking tray or spread with parchment paper and spread the dough on it.
Bake for approx. 20 min. and cool completely on the baking tray.
Glaze: sift the powdered sugar and mix with the mulled wine until smooth.
Spread on the dough and sprinkle with the almond kernels.
Let dry out well (approx. 2 hours), then cut into small pieces (approx. 3 x 3 cm).
Tip: Tastes good not only at Christmas!
