For the mulled wine slices, grate the orange and lemon and squeeze half.
Put red wine, zest, juice, sugar, cloves and cinnamon in a pot. Simmer gently for 15 minutes and strain.
Grate cooking chocolate. Cream butter until fluffy. Gradually beat in vanilla sugar, sugar and eggs. Stir in flour with baking powder alternately with mulled wine. At the end, stir in cooking chocolate.
Spread the dough on a baking tray and bake at 200° for 25 minutes. Let cool.
For the glaze, toast the almonds. Mix powdered sugar with mulled wine. Coat the cake with it and sprinkle with almonds.
