Instructions:

Mix salt, fat, sugar and eggs until creamy. Stir in flour, cornstarch and sifted baking powder.

From the dough, cut out elongated dumplings with a tablespoon and bake them floating in fat until done.

Remove the dumplings with a sieve scoop, drain on paper towels and sprinkle with sugar.

Best served immediately after baking.
