For the Windbusserl beat the egg whites with granulated sugar and salt until very stiff and mix in some red food coloring. Preheat the oven to 70 degrees Celsius.

Fill the mixture into a piping bag, pipe onto a baking tray lined with baking paper, sprinkle with various sugar sprinkles and leave to dry for at least 1 hour.
