Preheat the oven to 200 °C for the apple strudel. Roll out the puff pastry, use the supplied baking paper for the baking tray and place it on top. Peel and grate the apples and spread them lengthwise in the middle of the dough.

Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Brush edges of dough with egg and fold in. Brush again with egg and sprinkle with hail sugar.

Place the strudel on the middle shelf in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
