For the macaroni Il mare make the following preparation: Clean and wash the mussels thoroughly, sort out already opened mussels. Cook the macaroni in plenty of salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, finely dice the onion and 2 cloves of garlic, cut the chives into rolls and sauté everything in a large pot in about 2 tablespoons of hot olive oil. Add the mussels, cleaned under cold running water and freed from the beard, add chili and white wine and bring everything to a boil once. Cover and simmer the mussels for 5-7 minutes until they have opened. Meanwhile, wash the king prawns and carefully pat dry. Heat some olive oil in a pan and fry the shrimp in it, not too hot. Then season with salt and pepper. At the same time, halve the remaining two cloves of unpeeled garlic, fry them briefly, remove them again and sprinkle the shrimp with chopped coriander greens. Season the cooked mussels with salt as well as pepper and stir in the butter. Drain the cooked macaroni, drain and toss in a pan with a little olive oil and grated Parmesan. Place the macaroni Il mare on warmed plates and serve with the shrimp and mussels and their broth.
