For the Linzer slices, cream the butter with the powdered sugar and yolks. Sift the baking powder with the flour and stir into the butter mixture with the dough hook.

Chill the dough for one hour.

Roll out 2/3 of the dough on baking paper and pull out onto a baking sheet. Mix all topping ingredients well, spread on dough and smooth with a moistened knife. Spread currant-orange jelly on top and form thin rolls from the remaining dough and place them on the cake in a lattice shape.

Bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Then remove from the baking sheet with the baking paper and let cool slightly.

Cut the Linzer slices into small pieces with a damp knife while they are lukewarm.
