Instructions:

1. finely dice figs, plums and dates. Mix the fruits with the nuts, rum and spices in a baking bowl and leave to stand for one night with the lid closed.

Heat the milk to lukewarm, let the yeast melt in it, stir in the flour and salt. Mix with the fruit and knead well. Divide dough into thirds and form three round loaves. Preheat oven to 170 °C.

3. place loaves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with egg and cover with almond kernels. Bake loaves in oven (middle rack) for about 45 minutes. Take out and cool.
