Cut the meat into small cubes. Sauté heartily in 1 tbsp. oil in a non-stick frying pan in batches. Transfer to a large saucepan. Dissolve drippings with a small amount of water and add to meat.

Peel onions and garlic. Coarsely chop the onions. Remove peel from potatoes, fry well in remaining oil in frying pan, remove. Sauté the garlic and onions in the pan fat, then add to the meat with the potatoes.

Remove the peel from the ginger and chop finely. Rinse the tomatoes and cut into small cubes. Add to the meat with the paradeis pulp and the remaining spices. Pour as much water as necessary to cover the ingredients and season again. Cook the meat for about half an hour at low temperature with the lid closed, until the potatoes are cooked.
