Instructions:

For the Halloween Egg Plate, cut two hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks. Slightly cut off flatter end of two other eggs and remove yolks as well.

Mash yolks and mackerel fillet in a bowl with a fork. Add mayonnaise and mustard to taste and mix all ingredients well.

Fill the eggs with the yolk mixture.

For the toadstools, cut about 1/5 of each tomato crosswise. Remove flesh and place as a mushroom cap on two slightly cut eggs.

Make white dots with mayonnaise on them. Place the finished mushrooms on a plate and garnish with cilantro or parsley.

For the eyes take 2 egg halves. Using a toothpick, scrape out eye veins and carefully fill with ketchup.

For eyeball, place green olive cut into 2 halves on top of yolk. Place on the plate, form a nose from the filling, make the eye lashes and mouth from black olives.

For the spider take the 2 remaining egg halves and garnish with a spider (made of black olives). For this, cut an olive in half and place it as a spider body in the center of the yolk filling.

Cut 2 other olives into 8 pieces lengthwise and use them as spider legs.

For the funny faces, make balls of the remaining yolk filling and paint a face using green and black olives.

Serve the Halloween Egg Plate as an appetizer variation.
