For the milk ice cream, bring the milk and sugar to the boil together in a saucepan while stirring.

Stir in the mascarpone and vanilla pulp and bring the mixture to the boil again. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the mixture to cool.

Whip the cream until semi-stiff and carefully fold into the milk mixture.

Freeze in the freezer for about 20-30 minutes, then finish in the ice cream maker.

Place the milk ice cream in the freezer.
