A delicious fish recipe for any occasion!

Marinate the fish in sesame oil and juice of one lemon for about 30 min. Meanwhile, mix the remaining sauce ingredients and heat on medium heat for 10 min. in the frying pan.

Prepare the broiler and oil the broiler. Broil the tuna over medium heat for 6-7 min. on each side, turning once to the other side, brushing occasionally with the sauce.

Tip:

Use really light soy sauce and not the dark soy sauce that is more common in Germany. It’s available like hoisin sauce in some supermarkets and all Asian stores. You can also get five-spice powder, but it’s better to whisk it yourself: simply mix equal parts of dried anise seeds, Szechuan pepper (sometimes called anise pepper), fennel seeds, cloves and cinnamon.
